National Thermal Day: Igniting Innovation - Indian Thermal Entrepreneur Spotlight

Theme: Celebrating the Future of Thermal Engineering

Target Audience: Open to all students and staff of MHRD institutions , Thermal engineers, students interested in thermal engineering, entrepreneurs, innovators, and anyone interested in the field of thermal management.

Objective:

• Celebrate National Thermal Day by highlighting the achievements of Indian entrepreneurs who have built businesses around innovative thermal solutions.
• Inspire and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs and thermal engineers.
• Showcase the potential and impact of innovation in the thermal management industry.

Event Activities:

• Short Video Submission:  Participants are invited to submit short videos (maximum 3 minutes) showcasing the success stories of Indian entrepreneurs who have developed innovative thermal solutions. The videos should highlight the entrepreneur's journey, the problem their solution addresses, and the impact it has created.

Submission Guidelines:

• Videos should be submitted in MP4 format.
• Each video should include a brief introduction of the entrepreneur, their company, and the innovative thermal solution.
• The video should be clear, concise, and engaging.
• Include captions or subtitles if needed.
• Submission Email: innovationcellggi@gmail.com with subject "Indian Thermal Entrepreneur Spotlight"
• Include Basic Details in Email: Name, Email, Contact Number, College/Organization Name, and Topic Name

Important Dates:

• Submission Start Date: July 24th, 2024 (National Thermal Engineer Day)
• Submission End Date: July 31st, 2024 (11:59 PM IST)
• Result Announcement: August 1st, 2024

Selection Criteria:

• Innovation and impact of the thermal solution.
• Clarity and comprehensiveness of the video presentation.
• Overall quality and engagement of the video.

Prizes:

• Top 5 entries receive a certificate of appreciation (common for both faculty and students)
• Certificate of participation for all participants upon successful submission

Additional Recognition:

• Winners and finalists will be recognized on the website and social media channels.
• Potential feature in future publications or promotional materials.

Expected Outcome:

• Generate awareness and appreciation for innovative thermal solutions developed by Indian entrepreneurs.
• Provide a platform for sharing success stories and inspiring aspiring entrepreneurs and thermal engineers.
• Promote innovation and collaboration within the Indian thermal management industry.

Terms and Conditions:

• Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges.
• Judges' decisions are final.
• Participants grant MHRD IIC the right to use their Videos for promotional purposes.
